UPDATE: Police name man killed in motorcycle crash on A18 at Ludborough

Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.45pm on Wednesday, May 31, after a blue Suzuki motorbike collided with a Renault Clio.

The rider of the bike was taken to hospital in Grimsby where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

He has been named as 45 year-old Alan Critchley from Grimsby.

The road was reopened around 10pm.

Police are asking anyone who saw the Suzuki travelling along the A18 from the Laceby direction to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 313 of 31st May.
