Firefighters were called out to rescue two girls who had become stuck on the roof of a portable building in Wyberton on Saturday.

Fire crews from Kirton and Boston were called out to the scene at 8.16pm after reports that the girls were stuck on the roof of a portable building.

The girls are understood to have been on the roof of a building at the Wyberton Sports and Social Club on the Causeway.

It is not clear how they got on the roof.

Lincolnshire Fire Brigade said the crews used one short extension ladder to get the girls down.

It is understood police attended, but the force has not yet responded to a request for a comment.
