'He had a heart of pure gold' - Tribute paid to 62-year-old man who died in collision near Boston

Tribute has been paid to a ‘selfless’ man from the Boston area who died following a collision on the outskirts of town.

Brian Smith, 62, died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car in Horncastle Road on Monday (April 29).

The incident took place near the junction with Pilley’s Lane and Rawsons Lane shortly before 2pm, Lincolnshire Police have said.

In a statement released by the force, Brian’s partner Tracey said: “Brian was one of the most selfless people, who always looked out for others and always helped those he could. He had a heart of pure gold and was one of the humblest and kindest person to anyone who knew him.“The sudden passing of Brian in such devastating circumstances will leave an emptiness that can never be filled.”
