Louth funeral home’s tribute to Covid-19 victims

A funeral home in Louth has marked the coronavirus lockdown anniversary with a display of daffodils, with each of the flowers representing one of the funerals that they carried out for a local victim of Covid-19 over the last year.

Co-op Louth Funeralcare (Inc Kettle Funeral Directors), in Kidgate, displayed 22 daffodils in their window today (Tuesday) as part of the national day of reflection, exactly one year on from the first UK lockdown.

The funeral home also held a minute’s silence at noon on the day, in memory of those who passed away.
